  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup crushed Oreo cookies for mixing into the dough
  • 1/4 cup crushed Oreo cookies for topping

Instructions:

Add the softened butter, cream cheese, and granulated sugar to a mixing bowl

Mix until its nice and smooth

After you add the vanilla extract, mix it in again until its well mixed

Add the Oreo cookie crumbs, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt to a different bowl and mix them together using a whisk

Add the dry ingredients to the cream cheese mixture little by little

Mix until you get a dough

Add the mini chocolate chips and crushed Oreo cookies to the dough and mix them in

Put the dough in the fridge for about 30 minutes with the lid on to make it firm

Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet

Take dough balls about the size of a tablespoon and roll them into balls

Spread them out on the baking sheet that has been prepared

Make each ball of dough a little flatter with the back of a spoon

Add some crushed Oreo cookies to the top of each ball of dough that has been flattened

Put the cookies in an oven that has already been heated for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are just barely golden

After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way
