Ingredients:
- 4 pork chops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Add salt and pepper to the pork chops
Put olive oil in a skillet and heat it over medium-high heat
Brown the pork chops on both sides for about three to four minutes
Take it out and set it aside
Slice the onions and put them in the same pan
Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until they are soft and caramelized
Cut up some garlic and add it
Cook for one more minute
Add the chicken broth and scrape the pans bottom to get rid of any browned bits
Cover the pan and cook the pork chops over low heat for 30 to 40 minutes, or until they are soft and cooked all the way through
Add the heavy cream and stir it in
Simmer for 5 more minutes, until the sauce gets a little thicker
Before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley
