Greek Chicken Burgers So Good, Even Toddlers Eat Them

These Greek Chicken Burgers are a delicious twist on the classic burger. Made with ground chicken, feta cheese, and Greek-inspired seasonings, they are bursting with flavor. Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • Tzatziki sauce for serving
  • Lettuce leaves and tomato slices for garnish

Instructions:

Mix breadcrumbs, feta cheese, red onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano with ground chicken in a large bowl

Combine the parts until they are well mixed

Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty

Warm up your grill or pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat

Put the burger patties on the grill or pan and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and the middle is no longer pink

Toast the whole wheat burger buns briefly on the grill or in a toaster while the burgers are cooking

Take the burgers off the heat and let them rest for one minute

Spread a lot of Tzatziki sauce on the bottom half of each bun before putting the burgers together

Put a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, then the chicken burger patty that has been cooked

Place a tomato slice on top of the patty, and then sprinkle fresh spinach on top of that

Last, put the top half of the bun on top of the burger that you just made
