A delicious and creamy low-carb side dish featuring tender broccoli florets smothered in a rich cheddar cheese sauce.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375F 190C
Steam the broccoli florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes
Drain and set aside
In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat
Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika
Stir until well combined and heated through
Place the steamed broccoli in a baking dish
Pour the cream mixture over the broccoli
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the top
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly
Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving
