Ingredients:
- 2 cups eggnog
- 1/2 cup spiced rum
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup gingersnap cookie crumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- Whipped cream for garnish
- Ground nutmeg for sprinkling
Instructions:
Mix eggnog and spiced rum together in a bowl with a whisk
To make it smooth, add instant vanilla pudding mix and whisk it in
Put it in the fridge for 10 minutes
Whip the heavy cream in a different bowl until soft peaks form
Put in vanilla extract and powdered sugar
Keep whipping until you get stiff peaks
Fold the whipped cream into the eggnog mixture slowly until it is well mixed
Add gingersnap cookie crumbs and chopped pecans to serving glasses or jars and then pour the eggnog cream mixture on top
Add more layers, and then top with a dollop of whipped cream
Put it in the fridge for at least two hours to set
Add ground nutmeg to the top before serving, and if you want, add more whipped cream as a garnish
